Introducing "Asking the Right Questions"
My gift for you on the second birthday of P2P
Two years ago today, I started
. Since then, I cannot stop second-guessing whether the things I write are useful for anyone else. The insight came when I recently had the chance to ask a question from executive coach Ed Batista1. Now I am turning that into a gift to you, my readers. For my dilemma of how I should reconcile my desire to pay forward all the help I got from my mentors despite my very limited experience, Ed told me that
coaching and/or mentorship is sometimes more about the questions, not the answers.
As a scientist, I love questions2. Thus, I decided to experiment with a new part of the newsletter called "Asking the Right Questions". I plan to release these bits (irregularly) on Fridays.
